Calgary Sunset 3

I'm starting to get hooked on the experimentation of this HDR stuff. While I know this isn't exactly realistic, I like the sort of surreal quality it has.

I don't think it looks unreal at all, the sky is great and the foreground trees look frosty. You've done a great job using HDR in my opinion.

well i think it does look unreal but still like the image very much - the effect makes the scene appear very cold! i love the strip of warm colour in the reflection on the water amongst all the cool tone! great work!

Opinion #4 - It's a wonderful shot, Kenton, looking more real than not, says I. Mybe backing off the haloing (that frosted look) a little would push it even more to the real side. The pic is for sure a successful use of HDR in that it looks more like what your eye no doubt saw... and that's always a huge challenge for any on-board detector/software combo. We'd all like to see the original shot, someday. Thanks for sharing!
