@Denise: Thanks Denise. The family part is just a personal decision. I equate the web to a public bulletin board and I wouldn't put pictures of my family on a bulletin board in the supermarket. I suppose I might do it for display in a gallery or something, but it would have to be extraordinary. I feel that my kids and other family members should be the ones making those decisions, not me (as for my kids; I'll make the decision until they're old enough to make it themselves). I have plenty of family pictures and share them with family and friends, but there is no need for them to be on a public website.

I know most people would disagree with me, and that is fine, as it is completely up to the person as to how they want to handle their (and their family's) online presence.
