Inukshuk

Posted by Kenton (Calgary, Canada) on 1 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

This is an Inukshuk. Inukshuks were originally used by the Inuit (Eskimo) in northern Canada as markers and directional guides. They have become quite popular as garden ornaments over the last few years. At the summit of this mountain, people had constructed a number of different ones, large and small.

I always appreciate feedback and constructive criticism. Thanks for stopping by.
